Volunteer over the Holidays to help fire survivors move into a new home!
posted over 2 years ago by KFugett from First In, Relief For Evacuees
One week after the fire destroyed parts of our community in 2018, a small group of designers, architects, builders, and community leaders called a meeting to discuss how to help. The result of this collaboration is Homes for Sonoma, a group coming together to provide affordable, high-quality homes quickly.
Daily Acts is honored to team up with Homes for Sonoma to install a beautiful, water-wise landscape for this innovative model community for people who lost their homes in the fires.
We could use 75-80 amazing volunteers to get this project done!
Learn how to select drought-tolerant plants, observe landscape design techniques and practices, and take part in making this landscape more resilient.
Please join us on Saturday, December 8th from 10am - 3pm in Windsor! We'll send you the address once registered. We'll have a potluck lunch, so please bring a dish that is ready to serve!
