The Sonoma County COAD is a humanitarian association of community based non-governmental organizations which may be active in all phases of disaster.
Its mission is to foster efficient, streamlined service delivery to people affected by disaster, while eliminating unnecessary duplication of effort, through cooperation in the four phases of disaster: preparation, response, recovery and mitigation. Membership is agency based and is open to any non-profit, faith-based and service organizations in Sonoma County that desire to serve the communities of Sonoma County after a disaster.
The COAD website should be operational within a few days. In the meantime, the Facebook sites will be kept up to date.
